the third meditation
For it is good to sing praises unto our Elohim; For it is pleasant, and praise is comely.
YHWH does build up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
He heals the broken in heart, And binds up their wounds.
He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by their names.
Great is our LORD, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
YHWH upholds the meek: He brings the wicked down to the ground.
Sing unto YHWH with thanksgiving; Sing praises upon the harp unto our Elohim,
Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who prepars rain for the earth, Who makes grass to grow upon the mountains.
He gives the animals their food, And to the young ravens which cry.
He delights not in the strength of the horse: He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
YHWH takes pleasure in them that fear Him, In those that hope in His Loving kindness.
Praise YHWH, O Jerusalem; Praise thy Elohim, O Zion.
For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within thee.
He makes peace in your borders; He fills you with the finest of the wheat.
He sends out his commandment upon earth; His word runs very swiftly.
He gives snow like wool; He scatters the hoar-frost like ashes.
He casts forth His ice like morsels: Who can stand before His cold?
He sends out His Word, and melts them: He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
He shows His word unto Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances unto Israel.
He has not dealt so with any nation; And as for His ordinances, they have not known them.
